Re-arranged Tank.

ok this is what my tank used to look like.

so i had a sit down in front and thought about what I could do.
i thought about giving the plants another go, instead of fake ones, and maybe getting rid of my goldie and moor.
so i did...very very reluctantly.
the pair were my favourite fishes of all time. they where my first fish I bred and bred and bred etc and i miss them already.

got a few bits together and now my tank looks like this...

this is my favourite peice!

this is still not finished. i need a few more plants and know exactly which ones im getting.
the wood with the pebble on it wouldn't stay down so thats why the pebble is on it.

if you're wondering where the fish are, they are at my reliable lfs because i didn't have a holding tank big enough for the angel so he took them all in
i'm thinking about getting a black knife fish to replace the "center peice" goldie and moor.
does anyone know if they eat neons or whiteclouds?

oh yea, and the java ferns aren't just floating around. they are tied down with cotton. im waiting for them to rooooooooooooooooot!

0-o goldfish in a tropical tank? you know those little fish are going to be food for the goldfish eventually right?

Isn't the tank to small for a black ghost knife? And once they grow it will eat your little fish.

Yep that tank is way too small for black/Ghost Knife fish. Still looks 100% better now than the old layout.

hey thanks for all the erm not sure what to call it... positive feedback?
the tank i know is too small for any knife fish but i have a friend with a 75 Gall who said she would buy the fish when its too big for the tank. i'm not sure if the fish is a good idea so i'm kinda looking for another fish for the center peice.
any idea that would look good and compatible with my other fish?

other plants im wanting to add are... a patch of those twirly grass things. i cant remember what you call them but they come in straight or twisted. they look good and i think if my school of small fish swam in it all then it would look really good.
im also planning on getting an amazon sword. possible two.
and maybe a patch of moss to cover the rock on the far left and abit of the sand and then a small bit of the wood closest to it.

any ideas of another way i could inprove it?

oh yea, and im hoping to put a few fish in today at around 6ish after i fish work but i don't know which fish to add first. i was thinking about the school of wc's and neons.
which would be best to start with?
i have hillstream loaches, an angel, 4 weather loaches, clown loaches and peppered corys.
