a few pics of my balloon mollies
10gal, 6 females, 4 males
wisteria, milfoil, cabomba, java fern, leptodictyum riparium moss...all taking over the tank!

edit: i just realized that this picture makes him look like he has ich...it's just the camera/unclean glass...please excuse the water spots :*)

hi miss guppy in the next tank!

my favourite of all. i cannot get a picture capturing her true yellow color. she is an opaque white that fades into orange with most of her being yellow. she is the only molly of the group with opaque pectoral fins which makes her extra cute!

(albino female in the back)

here she is in the middle :)

bamboo shrimp in the 29. i have a group of 5 in that tank. the dominant male in the bottom one in the pic. he often shows his dominance by turning red. here they are right below the return flow from the filter trying to catch some yummy particles!

You have some very healthy and well cared for looking fish , and the shrimp too :) .

Lovely mollies ! Unfortunately I've never had much luck with balloons - not sure why ? :dunno: the just seem to die off after a few months whereas I've had my Lyretails for years now....

The mollies are pretty I dont want any more of them they add up to fast for me. But yours are very nice and healthy looking. :kewlpics:

thanks yall.
i have always been reluctant about getting some as i used to consider them too mutated, but once we started getting in some shipments of nice ones, they grew on me...

we have also never had any babies at work in the year that i have been there. sometimes they get eggbound(...err livebound?) and just explode. but i have had mine for about 2 months now and have had 2 batches of babies! maybe they're just so sensitive that they don't do well in pet store environments (go figure...) at work they have a high mortality rate.

maybe that's why i crammed so many plants into the tank...more hiding spaces, less stress ;)
