Yup, that's the fatty of my two F8 puffers that live together (hence the fairly hefty tank size for just two fish!). He's extremely cheeky! They both will hand feed too

In the planted tank I use eco-complete for the substrate. It's amazing stuff, seriously I recommend it to anyone wanting to make the initial pay out; it's def worth the investment. It also seems to hardly require cleaning, very bizarre. The plants are thriving, although my amazon swords are now a little out of control in there I really need to do some pruning.

If I could go back and re-do my 58G then I would have splashed out on the eco complete for that as well. The fish love it, the plants definitely love it, it's easy to clean, didn't need rinsing etc etc etc etc! Miracle substrate
