How big are the tanks? WHat are those pretty irredescent green cichlids in the 13th and 14th photos? How big do they get?

What kind of fish is that?![]()
some pairs display more than others, sometimse it takes several batches of eggs to fully cement the pair-bond, sometimes they go crazy with the mating dance from the beginning. There is a certain amount of variability here. Don't always expect every possible breeding sign. When the egg tube is at it's largest you are usually anywhere from 1 or 2 up to 24 hours from spawning. Approximately 3 days to hatch, and another 3 til free-swimming fry.duendecillo said:Yes, there is a male con with her. I'm glad to hear those are all signs of breeding. But I hardly ever see them displaying to eachother or 'kissing', and I heard these are the thing to look for?
Are there other things to look for to know if they will breed? I don't even know if they have paired off.
and if it is indeed the breeding tube I see, how much longer would it take for her to lay eggs?
sorry for the bunch of questions, I just can't wait for them to have little fishies)
