Ramshorn Snails

I put one in my tank a couple of months ago, now there are a few lol
They can reproduce by themselves? And how come there aren't loads, just the odd few... bit weird!

Ramshorn snails are hermaphroditic, having both male and female reproductive organs and lay eggs like it's going out of fashion. Only takes a few and they'll breed like loonies.
