hi there everyone.
just a question regarding blue rams......

i currently have 8 in a 110litre tank and was just wondering if i should downsize there numbers to a single pair or if they will happily spawn in schools?

when i first set up the tank i had 1 pair and 3 days after being in the tank they spawned but the eggs kept going white and nothing was happening, i put this down to my male and introduced another pair.
6 months down the track i havent had any more eggs and my blue ram numbers have jumped to 8.
so was wondering if removal of all but one pair would increase my chances of them spawning again?

Also in this tank are around 15 guppies, (soon to be removed) golden halfbeaks, (also to be removed)
and bristle nose (the bristle noses will also be relocated)

thankyou so much in advance to anyone who can offer me any help and advice,
Cheers,
Miss

not even a "not sure, good luck"

i always think rams do better with one pair to a tank. i have a 400L tank and i only keep one pair in their.

I would take out the BN asap as chances are he would eat the eggs at night. Guppies are a pain in the ass, I hate 'em. Ugly little muts.
110L seems quite sufficent to house all 8. If you didnt want to breed them you could possibly add 15 more. Lol
Im not sure whether they breed and claim lots of territory. With a 110L theres plenty of hiding space. Provide caves, flat surfaces, plants and rocks.
