how many rams do u think i could put in a 10 gallon tank

i believe you could put 2-4. they aren't africans (made the same mistaek the other time too) so they're americans and would prefer acidic/soft water

Usually it's only a pair but if you had to you could squeeze in a male and two females but even then it would be tight. Rams should really have at least 20 gallons. I made the mistake of starting them off in a ten and they lost all of their color and the tank got dirty really fast. Rams like to get the food and spit it out then suck it up again a few times. Really messy.

Reminds me of my Goldfish, Neo. He's a jerk and he has developed the nasty little habit of spitting his food up the filter intake (you should see this it's hilarious!!) so that he can clog my fliter. It doesn't work very well....HMmm I think he's trying to pull a Nemo....<bolts down the tank lid> Neo also turned into a mean little bugger....He can spit aquarium rocks at my fingers when I feed him...He got me a couple times.... Keep in mind he is about 6 inches long ad long finned. (He's a Sarhasa Comet).
