Hey i came in tonight from a new years eve party and i couldn't find my female Ram..
I looked then i noticed she was on top of one of my rocks swaying she looks fine but i think she could be laying eggs :D
Anybody help me and what are the signs if she has, Are there any precautions i shoud take so the other fish don't eat them?

Hmmm
The ONLY time I've ever had ram eggs eaten was when they were in community aquariums.....If I were you I would either snatch the eggs and try to artificially raise (most will definantly die........) Or move your rams to their own tank. My breeder pairs only have a 10 gallon each, which apparently makes them happy enough as long as the water stays clean :D

It depends on what you have in the tank, if you only have small dither fish such as tetras you should be OK.

If you move the adults nine times out of ten they will eat the eggs throw stress, if they are young fish they might do this anyway for 3 or 4 batches (more or less).
If you move them they are not guaranteed to lay again for a while if at all, unless you cam make them feel comfortable and duplicate the water parameters in the new tank.

I have:
5x Guppy
2x Common Pleco
1x Bronze Pleco
1x Sunshine Pleco L-017
2x Black Phantom Tetra
2x Ram
2x Platy

It might be worth moving them leave them to it and see how they go, the plecs might carse a problem.

As long as your water is soft and acidic, your eggs should hatch, thats asuning there not a young in exsperanced pair thet arnt going to eat the first few batches.

Don't think they have bred before but that'#s the male in my sig pic
