Rams with tiger barbs?

Will these to fish go together in a 3ft tank with cardinal tetras and barbs or should i look at getting other tetra's.

it depends on how many tiger barbs and cardinals you have

8 barbs and 4 cardinal tetra.

I'd say no, rams are a Cichlid but it seems like they sometimes forget they are I think the tiger barbs would stress them out
