I started with 4 GBRs..ended up having 3 girls and 1 guy. One of my females died. The male has formed a partnership with one of the females, but bullies the other one.

I guess my question is this....

Anyone have experience with having 2 Ram pairs in a 20 gallon tank? And if so...I really like my male I have now...I would hate for a new male to bully him. Could adding another male cause this problem?? Or would this help out my poor little female?

Thanks for any help!! :good:

In my experience each ram needs about a square foot of bottom to claim as its own, otherwise you run into bullying and aggression issues.
IME a 20g is fine for a single pair, but not more.
