Rams Chasing

I bought a pair of rams a few weeks ago, i asked for a male and a female but i can't be too sure if they are. The one i was told was male will chase the female if they get too close. luckily the tank is quite big so they don't meet too often and she gets away and hides pretty quick. should i be worried about ths??

Should be fine as long as your tank has plenty of cover for the female to rest.

I've noticed a damaged fin on the female today. is it likely to heal? do i need to do anything?

My male rejected my female too. I traded her in for what i thought was another female, but it was a male . So the two rams did a little fighting, nothing to seriors, until i gave one to my friend. Im in the prosses of trying to get a female for him that hopefully this time he wont reject.
