Would i be able to have the above fish with fish such as neons and tetras and guppys etc?

I know that i could have bolivian rams or east euro rams as i know they are peaceful, i have also found out that the blue dolphin is a peaceful cichlid and have been told that the dwarf cockatoo is semi-aggressive but is mainly peaceful and timid.

I just basically want to know if i could house these fish with the fish i have mentioned, thanks.

The blue dolphin is an African lake cichlid & not suitable for a general community. Apistogrammas in general oare ok in community tanks if you allow them enough territory.

Thanks for the reply, i will definitley get 2 rams, and probably 1 cockatoo chichlid then, i will be able to provide plenty of hiding places and swimming space in my tank, i did read somewhere that the cockatoo's are timid and only get slightly aggressive now and again, hopefully when i get one they wont eat my neons or any of my guppys or tetras lol.

rams tend to live in pairs, cockatoos have hareems. It wouldn't be fair to the fish to keep one.

These fish need the tank to have matured beyond just cycled too.

Look up the Laetacara genus. These may appeal & you could have a pair of these & a pair of rams in the bigger tank.
