I'm new to the world of cichlids and am wondering if a Bolivian ram and a kribensis would be ok living together in a 125L tank? I would also have about 10 neon tetras, 2 guppies (one male one female) 2 platties and maybe a pitbull Pleco or 2 but the stocking is still up for suggestions.

i've had rams with a female krib with no issues. she was very relaxed and my rams only ever really flared at each other. its good to have hiding spots like caves or wood with some plants though so they can escape and not have constant eye contact. she never bothered anyone but i reckon she would have kicked the rams butts if they messed with her.

kribs in pairs might be another issue if they spawn, they can get very mean so i'm told but thats natural when protecting babies, not so great if your the fish getting too close. guppies and platies wouldn't stand a chance in that situation.
