It's a female blue ram, Mikrogeophagaus ramirezi.

Thank you very much. It was being sold as a rainbow ram and I didn't know whether it was a Bolivian ram or GBR.

it's a longfin variety too. That just means it has longer fins and a longer tail.

For the future, and for anyone else interested, the easiest way to tell the two ram species apart (and they can look very similar, especially if the blue rams are juveniles or stressed and have lost a lot of colour) is to look at the eyes; blue rams have a red iris, whereas Bolivians never do.
