Well I heard that it's a bad sign when ram fry all swim on one side of my ten gallon grow out tank. The heater is on the side so I think that might have something to do with it.

as long as the tank is aerated and enough water movement is there is shouldn't be a problem. when mine where young they stayed more at the back away from prying eyes, but now they are older they swim to the front more.

Here's a video and a picture of my fish tank set up.

They are about a week old(Including when they were eggs). No offense but rams are a lot harder to raise then most livebearings. I've attempted quite a few times before with devistating results.

None taken, I have had Kribs and Rams and Bortelli's Apsitogrammas so I know what you mean. They are a headache when it comes to breeding. Your fry look very healthy. Could you post a close of pic of one?

Yeah, I'll try to get you one tomorrow. You ever get a successful batch? This will hopefully be my first.

Yeah, but the got eaten after about a week, so I dont cinsider that I have breed them becasue they didnt make it to adult hood.

Yeah, I give the parents their chances to raise them sometimes but I usually stick with artificially hatching and so one, I've had more luck that way.

i couldnt see a thermometer in your tank. have you got one. what is the temp in your tank. also are you feeding any bbs

I manually take the temperature. It's about 86 ferenhiet and I don't feed them bbs yet, they are about 3 mm in size right now so I feed the inforsoria and liquid foods
