Ram Courtship

Do rams exhibit any sort of courtship behaviors before mating? Every now and then mine seem to rub up against each other and one will sometimes nudge the side of the other with it's face. Just wondering if it means anything and if it is normal behavior.

Usually all fish should have some sort of ''courtship'' or mating dance, sounds inda like it to me, goodluck.

i've read that yes they do rub against each other when they want to mate and they do the whole nudging thing.

i've just bought a new blue ram hoping that it's a girl and hoping that the one i already have is a boy. but i came home with my new female and now i'm starting to think that my boy might not be a boy after all and it might be a girl.. do u think girls start chasing each other if they meet in the tank ? or maybe they're just scoping each other out before they go on their 'first date' ?
