Fish Crazy
My fiance and I went away this weekend, to come home to a huge batch of German blue Ram babies
. Does this sound weird? There weren't any eggs laid on friday when we left, at least I don't think so, and we com home and there is a nest and a ton of little babies swimming below dad
. This was a complete shock as I thought I'd have to do something in order to initiate breeding, not just leave them alone. I must say that I had hoped one day to try and raise some ram babies, but I didn't plan on it now.
With that said, what can I do to give these little guys the best chance at survival? What foods should I feed them?
I don't believe that any of the co-inhabitants of the tank will bother them very much as it's a tall tank, and I don't think I've ever seen my tetra near the bottom. But as I just found out you never can tell. Dad seems to be doing a very good job, he chases mom away etc.
