Hi guys, can you raise the kh in a tank? If so what could I do to do it?

At the moment it looks like its at 0 on the test strip but they are hard to read really. My ph is around 7 and I want to raise the kh so i can get around 30ppm co2.

Thanks.

you don`t need to rase the kh to add 30 ppm of co2, and altering the Kh of the tank offers a whole hoast of problems, i was looking at doing it a few months ago, your better just leaving the tank as it is and slowely bringing the ph down with the co2,
the fish will adapt, my tank is at a ph of 6 or lower and the fish are fine

There is actually no fish in there at the moment, which is good i suppose. I am cycling a new external for my planted tank on my community tank downstairs. I have just set up the tank, added plants etc and just added co2 a few days ago. The growth has been unbelievable since I added it. Taken literally a few days for some plants to grown an inch.

Planning on getting a luminaire that will give me about 3.3wpg

I will just up the co2 then. Thanks mate.
