Raising Ph For African Cichlids

whats the simplest way of raising the ph to around 8 for african cichlids?

can the fish already be in the tank when i raise the ph or will this stress them?

What is your PH already? It's more desirable to have stable PH than to adjust the levels. As long as your PH is higher than 7.4 I would leave it alone.
