Raising Brine Shrimp

I'm going to have an empty 55 gallon tank and I was thinking about using it to grow brine shrimp but I didn't know what all is involved in that and so I was wondering if anyone here has tried and it has any advice for me on it. I greatly appreciate it. Dave

I once looked into it. My Scooter Blennie seems to only like Brine shrimp. They recommend a 10G tank. So yours would be too big. There is a load of information on the net. I personally bought a brine shrimp maker, but i'm not sure if it works well. I mean I collect a boat load of baby brine, but since they are attracted to the light they kinda just swim to the top and get eaten by the Chromis. I still hope some do make it to the safety of the rocks and chill until the blennie comes around, but who knows....they are so small.

yea I just thought if I could grow them somehow it saves trips to the store and all the extra crap you get from feeding frozen food all the time in the tank. Dave
