woke up this morning to find all 6 of my rainbows(3 bosemani-3 axelrodi) have some white fluff stuff on the fins/tails... im not sure what it is as ive never really dealt with deisiese before but non of my other fish(danios blackskirt tetras BN pleco and gold gourami)...(edit.. my gold gourami does seem to be "drinking" air from the top of the tank, has been doing it for about 5 mins now non stop) have anything wrong with them which is weird... just the rainbows. all i did yesterday was plant the tank with a bunch real plants and i added some flourish excel. i scooped them all out with much hassle and uprooting my tank
and now there in a 10 gallon tank with 2 tablespoons of aqaurium salt(n0 medicine on hand) and a filter/heater running. ALL the white is gone off them now just wondering how long i should keep them in there for. i was thinking maybe a week or so. will closley moniter the big tank to make sure no other fish come up with any spots. thanks
