Rainbowfish In The Morning Video

hey guys and gals...made a short video today of my rainbowfish in the morning, when they're the most active.

All of their colours are great. so bright. Love what fish it was that has the huge Red fins and tales, looks great! What plants do you have in there is it all on a rock formation looks quite big.

Stiddy the fish you mentioned is a Melanotaenia Trifasciata otherwise known as a Goyder River Rainbowfish.

the tank is 75 US gallons, not sure on UK values.

I do not have any M. trifasciata. the fish in question is a M. herbertaxelrodi male that was slightly stunted during his early development, so he's a little short-bodied.

Stiddy the fish you mentioned is a Melanotaenia Trifasciata otherwise known as a Goyder River Rainbowfish.

M.trifasciata is not known as Goyder River Rainbowfish per say. "Goyder River" is a colour strain of M.trifasciata. There are many strains of this species including the blue form "Cato River".

Actually, it is not a color strain either, it is the collection location.
