I've got hundreds of these ATM, personally I keep mine with other cichlids but I have seen people keep them with small fish.

My angelfish is very small, probably about 1" or less, my rams are only about 4-5cm.

I will be buying 2 juvenile rainbow cichlids to add to my tank, how big do they grow to?

I'm hoping i won't have any problems with 3 different species of cichlid in the tank.

I am also considering adding 2 or 3 dward cockatoo cichlids as well.

My largest rainbow is about 5''.. don't think it will get any bigger then that..

the males sometimes don't like each other, but no real damage done.

From what I hear they get to around 6" MAX. They are one of the LEAST aggressive cichlids out there. They will be more than fine with your angels and rams or even the dwarf cockatoos.

I hope that helped! :good:

My kribs at the largest are 5 in MAX. The males should not be put together in a tank smaller than 30 gallons. They are very peaceful but in mating can be as bad as convicts. I had a pair and put a smaller female in there and it got eaten alive. They will breed in a 20 gallon or bigger. They also like small gravel because they like to burrow.
