Over the weekend our rainbow cichlids had laid eggs on a piece of slate which is great, I had another smaller tank setup with nothing in so I transfered the slate to that tank.

Now I have quite a few little wrigglers

just got some liquifry No.1 to put in which states 1 drop per 4 litres which is done but it is just white blobs on the bottom of the tank, should I have mixed it with tank water first?

How long do I keep this type of feeding going and then what is best food to move on to?

I wouldnt worry too much about feeding untill the eggs sacks have gone. I have tried that liquifry before and found it just blobbed you have to shake and shake the bottle before each drop and then it will still do it then it just sticks to the bottom on the tank. Best was I have found is get a pill/tablet crusher from the chemist and crush flake food or best is tetra prima as this does go powdery and makes an excellent food.
