Rainbow Cichlid - 25 Gallon

What other peaceful cichlid can I put a Rainbow Cichlid with in a 25 gallon tank?
I'm looking to have 2 peaceful cichlids with a bunch of non-cichlids that could take care of themselves like Yoyo Loaches. I'd also like opinions about what non-cichlids I should put in. What about a Kribensis as a second cichlid? Will he get along with the Rainbow?

Im having troubles thinking of cichlids that stay small and are peaceful. I really cant think of any for some reason. Oh well, free bump I guess - lol

There's really no such thing as a peaceful cichlid, and the best way to have them co-exist peacefully is to have a monogomous pair, so a mate for your rainbow would be nice. Then you can add a group of small and fast shoalers, like danios or a type of rasbora, as well as those tough loaches. Some mid dwelling tetra's may or may not be an option - it would be something you'd need to consider experimenting with - the fish would likely ignore them, but possibly not.
