I want a radiata lion I will take me cleaners out my common clowns out pyjama cardinal and banggai cardinal out would it be a good desicion or should I leave it oh and would my pistol shrimp and watchman goby be hurt

Any fish that can fit in a Lion's mouth will be lion food eventually. I have a Volitans that is growing very rapidly. He took a Pixyhawk, a Sixline Wrasse and a Blue Damsel, not all the same day, but over time. I try to keep him fed, and there are still fish that he could eat in my tank, but if I miss a feeding, I could be missing a fish. Move anyone and everyone that you can.

The shrimp and the goby are always in there cave and I want a small radiata about 2-3 inches would he hurt my tomato clowns in there anemone or not

I would advise against getting a Radiata, with any small fish, there is a chance the Shrimp/goby and clowns would be ok, but there is a bigger chance that they wouldn't.
Even if you get a small lionfish they will grow into big fish and one day your other fish might become a meal, personally I wouldn't risk it.

I agree mate...page from the lionfish guide book to survival.....

1: if it's smaller than you ....eat it !!!

2: if it's the same size as you....try to eat it !!!

3: if it's bigger than you...hold back, some day you can eat it!!!

I decided not to get one but the only prob is I went to my lfs and this happened I got a coco worm today £30 White and red I couldn't resist and I also saw a red mandarin eating frozen food I had him for £18 and I had some zoanthids £23 and a euphillya braching £40 that's a total of £111  was that a good desicion or not I couldn't help myself I was like a kid in a candy shop but while I was there I saw a tank I like and I asked the man there because I am friends with him he said he would get us a tank the same colour as our wardrobe and to my specific design how nice is that  :good: :hyper:

Oh, you got the fever!, LOL. Been there done that. I would research each one and see what their needs are. I am not familiar with those, so maybe someone will come along and give you some advice. In the meantime I would research the species online. Good luck!

Thanks lolololol they are all doing fine and the mandarin when I got him home I was in the middle of acclimatising and needed to feed the fish so I got a cube Fed most of it to the fish and the rest to the mandarin and he ate the mysis :shout: and to be honest thats lucky for a green mandarin (the one with the cool stripes) and I'm loving him he is so friendly but sadly I had a red mandarin ages ago because he looked fat In the shop but OMG he was anerexic he died 2 days later oh well maybe i will have look with this one :hyper: when I have time I will get some pics but how do you get them on the forum

You did luck up on the Mandarin! To post pictures, upload them to photobucket or another picture hosting site. On photobucket you have the option to copy the picture so you can post it here (IMG code). I look forward to seeing pics.

just click it and it will take u to the vid

It's a juwel trigon 190 litre it used to house discus (my discus) soon I will get a bigger fish tank 5ft and have a bluethroat trigger and a regal tang and most of my livestock now besides my cardinals and common clowns and maybe my cleaners but I think I will leave them it's just a pain when I feed the rose anemone

In the future I plan on getting a 5ft tank 500litre 100 gallon reef tank and plan on keeping most of my stock in my existing tank and adding a few more fish which are. Regal tang (paracanthurus hepatus) pacific ocean mimic tang (acanthurus pyroferus) moorish idol (zanculus cornutus) maybe a rabbitfish blue throat trigger (xanthichthys auromarginatus) and a emperor angel (pomacanthus imperator) and maybe a shoal of wreckfish or chromis :good: any help will be very appreciated

Yep, you have the fever. I am always planning my next tank too! My Volitans lion is getting very big, and needs a larger tank. He is in a 125 gallon tank now. I just don't know where I can put a tank that large. I will have to do it soon, or I will no longer have a damsel, coral beauty or lawnmower blenny. I like the prospective choices you listed. I want a Harlequin tuskfish, but will need a second mortgage on the house to pay for it, LOL. Okay so I exagerate a bit, but they are expensive. Start a new post when you get that one up and running.
