Well.....as many of you know, I am in the process of moving. I moved a couple of 33's and a 45 down to Saskatoon already (new home) and they were set up for a week before ever having fish in them again....mature, dirty filters....and all....however, withing the 2 weeks of transition, most of the fish have died....the best guess I have is nitrite spikes...but I do not know for sure, very sad indeed though...slinky is looking after them (my cousin, Bryan) and is doing everything in his ability to help these guys...and with my help over the phone and internet, still have yet to figure out what exactly is happening, water is being tested at a store right now....dunno though. Most are already gone....my favorites of course. (Sammy, the blue, Jub Jub, the blue female, Simon and his ladies, Kyle or Ike, not sure who exactly...all I know is that only 2 are alive right now..."A really big one and a med-small one" I don't know who else is gone and am very afraid to go there on Saturday to see who of my babies I have left....it is really tearing me up.
I just know I have lost pretty much all of my favorite fish, due to my carelessness of not being there with them...
I feel awful.
Poor Bryan too.
R.I.P. babies.
My computer won't let me post pics right now, for some reason.....so that will have to wait.
Luckily though, I had sold a lot of babies to a store in town and he still had some.....I bought a bunch of them tonight to have babies from my babies.
