Fish Addict
My newest betta passed away this morning..
My first one, Tyson, was being treated for fin rot which I had only noticed when his fins were VERY short - I assume I was unable to see it due to his light blue colour, as I hadn't seen anything wrong before. I also assume he's had it since we got him, as the other fish we got from the same shop died when we got them, but he's survived. So, my newest one was fine and dandy, until last night where his fins started curling and looked all cottony(cotton disease?), but I seperated him and used the same treatment as Tyson as it said on the box it treated fungus infections as well as fin rot. He then started floating on his side at the surface of the water, but survived the night. He was alive when I first checked him, gave him some food then 5 minutes later I checked again and he was dead..
All water stats have been fine, I don't know what's happened to be honest, if he was just destined to go or what.. I'm so confused with it! He was so healthy looking, apart from his fins looking a bit frayed from being stuck in the shop:
