I've come home from work tonight to find my ADF dead, laid on his back, stiff and spread out.

Poor thing, he hasnt shown any signs of illness lately and has been his normal self.

I have been doing large 70/80% water changes over the last few days as I had a small ammonia spike after adding a BN plec to the tank so I wonder if he may have been stressed although he didnt show any signs.

I've had the ADF for nearly 3 years and he liked to be hand fed. Its a sad day

:rip: ADF, I'll have to get some more to continue his memory :D

I know how you feel, for some unknown cause or reason, I lost one of my ADF's, Rick, on Friday, he was fine Thursday, looked around the tank Friday and he was gone, completely missing, no body has ever been found. I cant believe that the two other ADF's that were with him and the shrimp or snails in the tank could have consumed his body in that amount of time. He was my favourite too, he only had one arm (came to me that way) but was the most active of the 3.

The two I have now, seem to spend their entire time with one on the back of the other *cough* dirty little froggies
