We're due to be getting a 25gl tank from a friend soon to go with our newly established 13gl tank which has just finished cycling (ammonia goes down in 24h, nitrites are 0, nitrates around 10ppm).
Anyway I'm thinking about getting another filter ready for the new tank by either putting the filter and running it in parellel with the current filter in my small tank or just by putting some of the media from the new filter into my tank to atleast give a slight head start on cycling the 25gl tank....
Anyone got any views on this?
