Well for tropical fish I have Baensch Aquarium Atlas Volume 1 (ISBN: 3-88244-050-3)

Baensch, I agree.
excellent books, for both trops and marine,
but they aren't cheap.
Depends what sort of info you need.
Alot of what you read fish-wise is general opinion.
We have one tank inparticular that goes against all the books advise, but everyone is happy
(and the seahorses are breeding)
