Would a featherfin catfish be okay in a 47 US gallon aquarium?

Featherfins are funny, they do spend a lot of their time hanging around under wood, however when they decided to go for it they are incredibly fast, you want a minimum 4ft length tank, but longer is better.

Yes indeedy, but that doesn't mean your tank is 4ft long. For all I know it could be 3 ft long and very tall. That is why I asked the dimensions
