Quick Question

Hi all, gettin my new tank sometime next week and just wondering if i can put water in my tank and run the filter for a short while(few days), before i actually start cycling the tank.(adding ammonia e.t.c)!! Thanks alot, Alex!!

Of course you can

It's actually a good idea, because you can check that everything works, that the tank doesn't leak and that it is where you want it.

So the time is not wasted add a pinch and i mean a pinch of fish flakes to the tank....this will help things on their way regarding bacteria forming and will do no harm at all
