Quick Question

So, I went in petsmart and bought the 30 dollar co2 system they have, the one with the ladder. It's been two days and bubbles arent really coming out. There is bubbles, and they come out if i squeeze the tube but they dont come out on their own. In addition, they just get caught in the ladder rather than just riding straight up and out like i'd expect... What am I doing wrong?

Oh, and I probably could have given more detail, the bubbles that do come out, get trapped inside of it, and have shifted to various places in the ladder, and aren't moving.

you should use a D.I.Y recipe for the co2 on that system.it will make more co2.search for it.also the bubbles will get stuck in new set-ups till a slime coat builds.you should see bubbles within 10-15min.dont use very hot water or it will kill the yeast.just a tad hotter than lukewarm.also when you buy those systems you really dont know how fresh the yeast is so its better with the recipe on this site.i dont remember where.check the pinned articles or a search on nutrafin co2.hth.
