neons are alright with dwarf gouramis yes?
(potentially be 11x neons and 1 dwarf gourami in a 15 gallon, + 2x albino corys (for now))

My neons were always fine with the gouramis I kept. How large is your current tank? :)

they're not altogether at the moment.
the gourami hasn't been bought yet!
he'll be the first in the tank.
then the neons and corys added a week later.

neons & corys are currently been held by me (this is my brothers tank they're going to) in a 5 gal and 7 gal, all happy and healthy.

sounds fine but you should really get one or two more cories

Then you'll be just about fully stocked :)

yep we will be adding more corys. i just didn't have room for them in my tanks. in fact the two i have were a birthday present from my work colleagues -_-.
my brother lives near a really good LFS so he'll be able to pick some up easy.
:)

follow up...

my bro has just been into his LFS and looked at dwarf gouramis
but they're only selling them in pairs and not single.

i thought gouramis were too aggressive for a pair?
would this be pushing the stocking levels too much?
shall i make him harass them for a single gourami??

Well I would put the neon and corys in first because I found when I used to have gouramis that they did not like new comers so add the other fish first so he will be the new fish on the block and won't harass the other fish thinking they are invading his space.
