Quick Question About Fry And Moms

I have recently had a platy and swordtail give birth. I took the platy out and she still had a black spot on her belly a few hours later it was gone. The sword gave birth 2 days ago and still has the black I left her in the fry tank with a preg. platy and sword. Should I take her out? I am missing alot of my fry already and was wondering also if a pleco will eat fry? At any time how many pregnant fish should I keep in the fry tank if I have fry trying to grow?

Pregnant fish, non pregnant fish, and pleco's will eat them.

Take her out. She may have a gravid spot because she may be pregnant again. Sometimes she doesn't drop them all, but most of the time they will. I would get a breeder net and lock her up to keep an eye on her.
