Quick Platy Question

Hello,

I recently lost one of my favourite platys, he/she was one of two red and black platys, which are my favourite. He/she know seems a bit lonely and the smallest of the three platys is bullying him I think, I even think he has taken a chunk out of his side. So do you all think it would be a good idea if I got more platys so my last favourite doesnt get harassed, how many would I be able to get? I have a 60 litre tank with 3 platys, 2 albino cories and 2 snails with yellow shells. Any ideas and suggestions would be greatly appreacitated. Thanks.

hi,
you need to find out the sex of the ones you already have, if you have male and female you need to get the right amount of male to female, for every male you need 2-3 female, or the female will be harrased.
femalese have a fan shape to there anal fin, boys have a rod shape, which they use to put sperm into the females. this should stop any hassle going on. donna
