Quick Opinion Needed!

Ok I can get a Eheim wet and dry filter that does 1000lph with media for £50 including P&P is this a good deal? Quick opinions needed so I can tell them to hold it for me but I dont wanna be conned. Thanks

i read somewhere that they are quite noisy filters.
if noise doesn't matter, £50 sounds like a good deal.

do a search on TFF and most of the posts indicate that they are noisy.

well i asked the seller an he said as long as the spray bar is under the water it's pretty quiet.

Cant search wet and dry as they are three letter words which really sucks! But found one topic that says they are quiet but difficult to set up

well he says it 1000lph and could be the 2227 or 2237 cant remember which

yeah thats the one i found when i searched. it says it can be quiet but difficult to set up thanks for your help. The wolf is going to see if he can get me a price on the 2217 cannister one so I asked the guy if i could let him know about this filter tomorrow
