Quick Filter Question

On an internal filter, do you have to use the hanger or can the suction cups hold it on the tank good? I have one but I want to put it lower in the tank, just not sure if I'll wake up to it laying on the bottom.
If it has to be on the hanger, is there a way to lessen the flow? It's stirring the substrate all up, making a huge mess.

I have mine on suctions and its fine, there is 6 on it though.

HOw big is it?

IM sure when it was made, 2 suctions was good enough to hold if thats all they put on it..

just make sure there on properly and im sure it will be ok, or get a plastic hook over clip with a extra 2 suctions on it, im sure your LFS sells them

It's a whisper 20i... it's in my turtle tank. I just took the hook off and put on the 2nd cup, and so far, so good. I'll double-check it before I go to bed tonight just to be safe.

It should be fine, if that is what it was supplied with then it should stick on well.

Just wanted to say that it's working great! I had to add a piece of rock under the water to help soften the water movement, but the filter is staying put just fine.
