Quick Cycling Question

Lets just say set a scenario, I am cycling a coldwater tank for 2 months. When the 2 months are over, can put in a heater to heat it then put tropical fish in? Or do you have to have the heater in for the entire cycling process?

You can cycle the tank with room temperature water and add a heater when you add the fish. That's not a problem.
