Awhile ago I had my first ich outbreak, w/ no deaths thanks to Quick Cure. :) But I think it, um, mutated my one plant. I think it's some kind of foxtail? It looks like seaweed, but now it looks like it melted together or something, and it's more blue in color (kinda teal). Like instead of a bunch of bristles on the stem, it's leafy like lettuce.

I bought some more foxtail to replace it, I just dropped it in w/out taking the other ones out. It seems like this teal leafyness is spreading to that plant now.

Is this a concern? Anyone else have this happen? It's kinda neat looking but... I don't know how safe a medically mutated plant can be ;)

Or maybe it's something else?? I took a pic of it, you can't really see the teal-ness in it but you can see the webbing.

I wouldn't know if it safe or not, but its probably because most plants are really sensitive to medications, I would take it out just in case it raises your perameters or anything. If its safe keep it in a bucket or something, and wait until another member gives you more information.
