How would be a good way to hide air tubing?

And what would be a good fish selection for a 10gallon?

hello,
first Q: how to hide the airline: you could use a piece of wood, a fake plant, or something of that sort.
2: selection of fish: their are a couple of options. you could go with a school of glowlights, or some cardinals. then later you could add a few danios, or white clouds. you could also add a few small pygmy cory's. in my first 10 gal. i added a betta fish, however, this is controversial as some say that tetras are a little nippy. i found this not true, or my fish is an onomoly (spelled WAY wrong! lol)

you would have to add these in very slowly, over a period of months, as this is pushing the limit.
i would start with 3 glowlights (a little hardier that cardinals and neons)
then a few weeks later, when your water is good, i would add the cory's. (2, preferably 3-4, as they like to be in groups)
again, later on, when your water is good, the danios (3)
mabey, and this is a large mabey (like this : MABEY) (lol, a little on the random side) add a betta, but i would shy from this.
anyway, i have found that this setup has worked exellent for me in the past, and still is up and running (my first tank years ago) and doing well

good luck!

well, that depends. there really is no true guideline, but there are a few suggestions so to speak. the most common, is one inch of fish per gallon. however we all go over that, which will be ok, as long as we do weekly water changes (those are very important).
for the tank that you are thinking about setting up, you could get away with the fish i suggested, as long as you did water changes. :)
that is why i was hesitant to suggest the betta (and because of fin nipping :/ )
also, as stated above, add the fish over many weeks, months
then you aught to be alright. :D

Heres another question, Im setting up 3 tanks, two 10gallons and a 30gallon. One is going to be a decorated tank with ornaments. Is it ok for the fish if marbles are added? My nephew wants to see some in the gravel.
