hey folks, i keep tropical fish and bettas but iv never kept salt water fish for tanks b4. id like to one day but iv heard their a whole lota work, is it tru?

Sorry GD, the server was down for me a couple days.

They are not too hard once you have everything stable.

Depends on the size of the tank and the cash you have to throw at it for an initial investment.

If you are familair with freshwater and keep the water in top cpndition then you are already half way there. Salt water takes more fine tuning to get the water "ready" to accept fish but once its running the routine is very straight forward. Standard tests for Nitrate and phosphate, (should not get nitrite or ammonia in a mature system) on a regular basis and just making sure the water is kept in good condiition. If the water is well kept the tank usually looks after itself.
