Is it safe to keep an algae eater with fry?

mm I don't think they would eat them IMO, but who knows.. I never keep anything with my fry...

idk. ive never tried that. i have always put snails in with my fry.

What kind of algae eater do you have? How large is it? You're not in danger of the fish eating your fry right out as they don't do that, but they will get grumpy and harass fish, which could possibly kill your fry. You are most likely okay though with nothing to worry about.

Oh okay thanks. I was just thinking of having something keep down my algae. I do not actually have one yet. But I don't think I will get one until the fry are old enough.
