yeah I just want to know its because I have had so many fish before and so many I had they all died and vanished and I never ever saw them again what the heck could of happened to them how long to these guppies or platyss live for any ideas I guess 17 years max.....

They live for about 2 years.

If they have vanished from your tank they have probably died and been eaten by the other fish.

2 is average, however some can live longer as long as they aren't very inbred and healthy. I've had ones live up to 4 years, and I currently have one that's 4 1/2.
