Hi ALL
I have just bought 2 orange and blue dwarf Gouramis yesterday and they have settled in well into my quarantine tank ,
Question is could I add Indian Gouramis into tank at the same time or am I asking for trouble ?
My tank is 4ft long and 240lt , fish are  2 keyholes , 2 bgr 1 spotted headstander , 3 blackwidows , 1 angel , 10 cories and 1 brn
Cheers for looking
Cathy

I think adding them both is your best bet. If you add one first they'll claim the tank and beat up the other.

Most 'gourami' will quite happily live with other gourami with no issues whatsoever - but keeping that in mind, you will obviously get dominant specimens in any tank, and gourami are no different. Although they will not fight as to kill, they have been known to chase and chase eventually leading to death by exhaustion.

In your case, you would be fine. Add the fish, but keep an eye on them for the first few days - chasing is fine, but prolonged chasing could be a first sign of unhappy tank mates.
