Is it normal for little strips of adhesive to come off into the water?

And does this stuff ever need to be replaced? I'd sure hate for 75 gallons of fish water to end up all over my living room.

Just once in awhile, when I'm doing a water change, I notice little strips of adhesive floating around. Usually just one strip, and not very often...

Thanks!

My little 2.5G tanks usually have little tiny pieces that come off with the first several water changes, so I'd guess it's normal. But, I don't know how long you've had your tank for.

Hey, I didn't get an email from you over the weekend???

Could be one of your fish nipping the silicone. Check the seals on your tank and if they are damaged you can repair it easily.
