Question On Velvet Medication

If I added velvet medication in my fishtank because I thought my fishes had velvet but they didnt, will this harm them?

No it won't harm them but you should never add a med till you sure you no what you are dealing with,do a water change and just remove the med by adding some new carbon to the filter.
