Question On This Diy Filter

i made this, well 3 of them and they've been working along side my internal filters for 3 weeks now, how long would it be before i remove the internals from the fry tanks and know for sure that these have seeded, water quality is fantasic and crystal clear at the moment but as ive got fry in all tanks i dont want to kill them, was thinking of getting rid of some crap UGF and replacing them with these as well.
