Question On Lighting?

Is it ok to have my light on from 6 in the morning till 10 or 11? Or would it be more ideal to turn it on when i get home from work at half 4 till 10 or 11?

I think 14-15 hours of light might result in a lot of algae growth. You can purchase timers which are pretty cheap and you can set it for around 8-10 hours.

I've got a timer that switches on my lights at around 11 am and off at 11 pm. That way my tank is lit up when I'm at home during evenings.

I have mine on timer , Come on at 2pm ,Go off at 11pm!

Yeah that's a little long for your light to be on. I would try getting a timer at your local hardware store or something similar. Picking one up from your pet store may be more expensive.
